Strength of Schedule: Defense

Draft Guide with FELIX

QUARTERBACK | WIDE RECEIVER | RUNNING BACK | TIGHT END | DEFENSE

I received a lot of requests to create a Strength of Schedule (SOS) list for defenses, so here goes. Now, my advice is to stream the position. I usually don't even draft a defense. I tend to pick them up on the waiver wire just before my season starts. Sometimes even after the morning games have started during week 1 so that I can scout the last couple of players on my roster to see whether I want to keep them or not. Having said that, you can get good use out of a defense for a few weeks and then trade them if they start out hot. Streaming even middle of the road defenses vs a bad offense can be just as good as starting one of the elite defenses. So, early season matchups are something you will want to pay attention to.

Here are the Top 5 Best and Worst Defenses according to 2020 strength of schedule.

  1. New Orleans Saints
